Yesterday I drove out to Sidney (by the Sea!) to meet up with my tattoo artist, who moved her studio from Downtown to Sidney a few years ago. It's been maybe five or six years (just looked and it was seven) since I last got any work done on this thing. So it's been a long time coming.

It's been an eventful seven years. I got involved in a class action lawsuit, Sandra got rectal cancer, and then beat it, COVID happened, and the world burst into flames. Or, at least, the US did.

So this felt important, getting this done.

Going to see Nobody 2 this weekend, so I suppose I should watch Nobody 1, since I haven't seen it. I do like Bob Odenkirk, so I'm interested. I don't know how I feel about Bob as an action star, but I don't hate it. I know that much. Maybe I will when I watch it, but I suspect not. I just hope he says GODDAMN IT at least once.

I'll send a review once I see Nobody 2. In related news, this is one of the greatest sketches ever. Okay Mr. Pants, here we go.

So I'm going to apologize in advance for the person I'm going to become for the next month and a half (and probably a few weeks after) until Life of a Showgirl comes out. To say I'm excited is an understatement.

So writing is in a weird place. I'm still working on Gut Feeling, but I've got three different vampire books on deck, the sequel to Gut Feeling, the Alice in Wonderland book is still perculating, and I need to come up with the sequel idea for Bride, because honestly I didn't think that far ahead when I made it "part one." Sorry to spoil the illusion, but most of the time I'm making it up as I go along. Maybe I should try out some outline software.
