Australian Survivor, Art, A Contest, and so on

Howdy Quaid!
It's me, your friendly neighborhood Joe!

In case you don't know (and if you're not me, or Australian, why would you?), but Australian Survivor started on Sunday, and oh boy am I excited. It's the final season with host Jonathan LaPaglia, who is the heart and soul of that show, so it's a bittersweet experience. Still, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that when Jeff Probst eventually bows out of US Survivor, JLP will take over as host. I doubt it, but I can hope.
Don't worry, this won't turn into an Australian Survivor update blog (though I certainly COULD do that), but it is something I'm excited about, so I'm talking about it. 😃
I drew YungBlud, because he's been on my mind lately. Drew it in Clip Studio Paint on my ipad.

The quest for a new place to live is going very slowly. Sandra and I are being evicted from our current home of 16 years because our landlord wants to turn our suite into their home office/home gym. So we've got a few months' notice to find a new home.
It's not easy, I tell you what. Everything is so much more expensive and smaller. But it's also newer and different from what we've been living in for the last 16 years. So I guess it's a mixed bag.
All that's to say that things have been fairly stressful as of late, so that's on my mind.
I'm hoping that wherever we move to will have a space that I can use to play tabletop RPGs with. I'd love to get a game of Vampire: The Masquerade going or Call of Cthulhu.
Until then, maybe I'll set up an online game. I dunno.
Got some new subscribers this week! So hi to Phil, Jason, Robin, and Colleen!

Editing on Gut Feeling is going slowly but surely. I'm about halfway through my third pass on it, and it's still coming together. So I guess it'll be a bit still until I'm ready to publish. That's okay, I've got some stuff to figure out when it comes to my broader plans for the story.

So I'm running a giveaway! It's easy. Everyone who has signed up for my newsletter gets entered into a random draw for a free portrait commission! If you're getting this as an email, then you don't need to do anything. If you haven't signed up yet, then subscribe to my newsletter and you'll be entered into the draw! One email per person, please!
Alright, that's it for today! Until next time, take care!
